ETV - 500

Powers introduces a new line of ASSE 1071 listed emergency tempering valves designed to deliver tepid water to eye and face washes, drench showers and combination units in compliance with ANSI Z358.1-2004.

ASSE 1071 is the latest tempering valve standard, entitled Temperature Activated Mixing Valves for Plumbed Emergency Equipment, from the American Society of Sanitary Engineers.

The new series is built on Powers’ HydroGuard XP platform and features greater cold-water bypass flows, more precise temperature control, higher top-end capacities and a new 2" model for multi-fixture applications
(119 gpm at 30psi differential).

Engineered with Performance and Safety in Mind

The new valves feature Powers advanced paraffin actuation technology and are factory preset at 85°F (29°C) with an operating range of 60 – 95°F. For added safety, temperature adjustment requires a special counter-bore allen-wrench to resist vandalism or accidental readjustment. The series features four base valves (1/2", ¾", 1-1/4", 2") and is available in both bronze and chrome plated finishes.
